MEDLIFE: UConn strives to continue its involvement with the communities with which it works during MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics by sponsoring community projects. Most recently, we teamed up with other MEDLIFE chapters to sponsor the construction of a home for Soledad, a single mother living in the outskirts of Lima, Peru. We also worked to support the clinics from home by gathering medical and dental supplies for MEDLIFE. In the coming year, we will challenge ourselves to bring clean water to San Juan de Miraflores, the community in which we built a staircase during our January 2016 Mobile Clinic trip to Lima, Peru.
